Course Overview

The CITB SSSTS course is required for supervisors who work on group sites with contractors, and it stands for the ‘Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme’. The construction field has its dangers, and thousands of deaths and accidents occur within workplaces around the country every year. This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to create a safe environment within the workplace. The Health and Safety at Work Act, Specific site issues that challenge supervisors daily, Effective toolbox talks, Supervision of occupational health, and Behavioral safety.

Course Material

All course materials are provided for the training course. This includes the Site Supervision Simplified GE706 and Toolbox Talk.


Training Assessment

The final examination for this SSSTS course will consist of a multiple-choice exam of 30 questions. You will be awarded a CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme Certificate if you successfully pass this exam.

The qualification will remain valid for five years. After this point, it can be re-qualified by attending a one-day SSSTS Refresher course.
